Cinnamon also know as dalchini in local language, is a spice that is obtained from barks of the Cinnamon tree. Dried bark of the tree is mainly used as a spice around the world. Cinnamon leaves are also used a major spice around the world. The inner bark is obtained carefully from the obtained shoots. It is then cured and dried. While drying, the bark curls into a cylinder or curls. Cinnamon is also used widely for medicinal purpose.
